We began by working with a partner to complete this inquiry activity, in which you looked at quiz scores and different ways that teachers can "scale" their scores.
We then used what we learned in this activity to formalize what we know about what happens when you shift data, and when you scale data. We made a slideable (a word I just made up! instead of foldable! get it?!) that my husband very kindly invented. Here are the notes below:
