Today we reviewed how to solve a system of equations by graphing - either by hand or with the TI-83/84 calculator. Using the calculator is a great way to check your work, but you'll need to show any graphing by hand. Tomorrow we'll practice solving by substitution and elimination.
First, we filled in part of our foldable:

Then, we created a pocket for page 29 where we'll sort and store 18 total examples of solving systems by graphing, by substitution, and by elimination. These will be a great study tool for you!
The homework (which we started in class) is to solve six systems of equations by graphing. This is the blue sheet that you were given in class. Remember, if the problem on the front has one solution, the problem directly on the back of it will also have one solution, same with no solution and infinite solutions. Of the six problems you were given, two are consistent and independent, two are consistent and dependent, and two are inconsistent.
